What I offer is so much more than just music lessons.
I have spent more than 20 years helping students of all ages fulfill their musical potential. I aspire to spark a life-long love of music, learning, and curiosity in my students, and to inspire students the way that my teachers and mentors inspired me. Here is just a taste of what makes my studio different:
- Fundamental Skill Building – Students learn the language of music, including counting, tone production, phrasing, and technique.
- Holistic Skill Building – Students engage in creative problem solving by learning how to approach musical challenges.
- Confidence Development – Students develop confidence in their musical ability and learn to celebrate progress.
- Supportive Mentorship – With over 20 years of teaching experience, I create an individualized, safe learning space for each student, rooted in encouragement, structure, and individual guidance, that extends beyond the instrument.
